We are pleased to announce that RoofersInc., A Tecta America Company, has appointed Dean Jagusch as the new president. Dean has been with Roofers since 2002 as a Lead Estimator/Project Manager, was promoted to Senior Vice President in May of 2008 and was appointed President in December 2008.
Dean attended Unitec Institute of Technology in New Zealand where he obtained two certificates from the Applied Technology Plumbing and Gasfitting Programme. Post graduation, Dean began his career in the construction industry as an Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter.
Running the day to day operations under former president, Ed Taylor, for the past six years, Dean has done a tremendous job stepping up his game as a general manager. Dean has built a loyal customer base after managing a variety of high profile projects. In addition, he has enhanced RoofersInc.'s position in the local marketplace by leading the operation into vertical applications of metal and rain screen products.
The professional organizations that Dean has been affiliated with include: the NRCA, USGBC - Baltimore Chapter, Mid-Atlantic Roofing Contractors Association (MARCA), and founding member of the Kiwi Expat Association (KEA) - Washington D.C. Chapter.
Dean has impressed all of us in Skokie with his quick grasp of financials, willingness to lead a drive to improve safety at the operation, and his entrepreneurial sense of urgency in his management. He has a great future in the industry and we're proud to have him leading the RoofersInc. operation moving forward.
