Skokie, IL (April 21, 2004) - During its 117th Annual Convention and Exhibit, The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) announced the election of Kent Schwickert, President of Schwickert Inc. in Mankato, MN to serve as Vice President on the executive board for a two year term. Mark A. Gaulin, President of Magco Inc. in Jessup, MD is currently serving a second term as a NRCA Vice President and is in his second year.
Mr. Schwickert is President of Schwickert's, of Mankato Inc. He has been with Schwickert's for over 25 years and has been the President of Schwickert, Inc. and Schwickert's of Rochester, Inc., and the Vice President of Schwickert's of Mankato, Inc. since 1987. Mr. Schwickert is responsible for and serves as Chairman of NRCA Education Resource Committee, which operates all of the NRCA's education programs. He has also served on the National Roofing Legal Resource Center's Board of Directors and the Consumer Awareness Committee. Additionally, he serves as a volunteer at the YMCA, Educare Foundation, South Central Technical College Foundation, NRCA (Alliance for Progress), and the Mankato Area Chamber of Commerce, all nonprofit entities. Mr. Schwickert received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from the University of Minnesota in 1982.
Mark A. Gaulin founded Magco Inc. in 1987 and runs all aspects of the business including field operations, estimating, purchasing and total company performance. Mr. Gaulin has driven Magco's growth and enhanced its reputation in the industry by completing difficult projects that very few contractors have.
