Tecta America Corporation, the nation’s largest commercial roofing contracting and environmental roofing solutions firm, announces its fifth annual academic scholarship award roster, this year comprised of 28 recipients.

In order to be considered, applicants must be the son or daughter of a Tecta America employee who has been with the company a minimum of one year.

The scholarship committee thoroughly reviews each application, which includes academic performance, financial need and letters of recommendation, before mailing an award letter.

This year’s scholarship recipients include:

This year, the company awarded $40,000 in scholarships to be distributed amongst the recipients. Each student will receive a minimum of $1,000 toward their educations, which will be available during the fall 2011 semester.
